• curved cable stayed bridge with a single central suspension
• three main spans of 350 m each, two adjacent spans of 176 m each
• concrete box section
• self balanced bridge, horizontal soft stabilisation by its own piles
• access bridges with spans from 36 m to 56 m
• depth of foundations : 75 m below lake bottom
• connection to right shore over an artificial island and through a cut and covered immersed tunnel 800 m long
• total cost : chf 280'000'000.--
• detailed project has been completed
